Previous Projects

Lindsey Leigh | Singer Songwriter


For Lindsey Leigh, John Baker wrote and directed the music video for her single "Why Are You Blaming Me?" with future content planned for an upcoming documentary about her singing career. Future music videos are planned for other tracks on her upcoming album.



Breakthrough Productions


In partnership with Krista Amico, JB Creative worked with Breakthrough to produce behind the scenes content, compiled from rehearsals of their original piece "The Other F Word".



Libbey Glass


JB Creative have written and produced a series of short promotional and traning videos for Libbey Glass sales and marketing personnel to use in the field. Working closely with regional directors and sales teams, JB Creative produced HD video content explaining the science behind glassware, specifically for the craft beer market.


HP/Alcatel-Lucent


When HP and Alcatel-Lucent signed the 10-year agreement for a global alliance, it signaled the beginning of a new relationship between the two companies. JB Creative has played it’s own part in developing creative content to show the working progress of Alcatel-Lucent and HP’s alliance with a promotional video “Welcome To Your New Office” – highlighting global advancement in the communication industry and specifically mobile and smart phone technology.

In working with marketing divisions both in the USA and Europe, JB Creative provided a quick turnaround on video material featured at the 2011 HP Discover convention in Las Vegas.

The Walt Disney Company


For The Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, JB Creative have provided a multitude of services for Disney Events Group and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. JB Creative have assisted with the writing and script doctoring of special events and corporate events within the park and have assisted with concept development and script writing services. John Baker was the co-writer of a special Halloween murder mystery event which was a co-production between Disney Events Group and Disney MGM Studios, Orlando.



Sirius XM Radio

In partnership with Veia Enterprises, Sirius XM Radio and Julie James, John has provided creative consulting and brand marketing content exclusively for the On Broadway channel on Sirius XM Satelite Radio and produced short video segments, covering Broadway plays and live events.Promoting Sirius XM’s exclusive content with video teasers and promotional material. With Julie James specifically, and in partnership with The American Theater Wing, The Broadway League and Producing Partner Veia Productions, John has developed video segments for press junkets for Broadway plays and musicals and a major documentary about Julie's involvement with the 2011 Tony Awards




Universal Studios


For NBC Universal John has been involved in various special events. John has worked closely with Hard Rock Live at Universal Orlando, and with Universal Entertainment working with special events director Rick Spencer to develop characters for Halloween Horror Nights and Legendary Truth. Having worked with Islands Of Adventure, Universal Studios Florida and at The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter in a number of creative roles, John's combined six years with NBC Universal afforded him many creative opportunities and entertainment credits at the Orlando venue.



Veia Productions


As a co-production with Veia Productions in Washington D.C, JB Creative supervised the scripting and event video services for Fashion Fights Poverty‟s signature annual event. John Baker wrote and directed two public service announcements for Fashion Fights Poverty, which were shown at the corporation's annual fashion show and shot live "behind the scenes" coverage of the event with on air host Catherine Schuller.

Veia Productions in Washington DC were the supervising production company for 6 Stories a film written and directed by John Baker that was shot in Orlando, Florida. The film has been released exclusively online.

Gaylord Palms/Metropolis Productions


In partnership with Metropolis Productions John Baker wrote and co-directed the 2010 Gaylord Palms Halloween corporate event. Featuring live actors, lighting, sound and special visual effects. The event was hosted by the Gaylord Palms was a co-production between JB Creative and Metropolis.

Combining live action and visual/audio effects, this convention style sow played for over 800 people at the 2011 Halloween Event.



The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter


John was a member of the opening team of The Wizarding World Of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort. He was heavily involved in the development and rehearsal of the Ollivander’s Wand Shop Experience, alongside creative director Gary Rorman, supervised by Universal Creative.

The venue was in rehearsals from early 2010 until the summer of 2010 when th epark officially opened. John Baker provided voice-over for the opening ceremonies which were broadcast live online throughout the world, and was instrumental in the preview event hosted by Universal Orlando for executives from Warner Brothers. John was also involved in the British royal visit when Prince Andrew and Sophie Ryhs-Jones visited the park in the summer of 2010.



The Tony Awards


Partnering with Sirius XM Radio, Veia Productions and CBS Television, JB Creative filmed exclusive video and red carpet footage for the 64th Annual Tony Awards at Radio City Music Hall and the 65th Annual Tony Awards at the Beacon Theatre in New York City.



The Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton


John was responsible for producing three press releases after being commissioned by The Office Of Prince William at St. James Palace. All three press releases were announcing the design and gold content of Kate Middleton‟s wedding ring for the 2011 Royal Wedding. At the request of the royal family’s executive office, John was responsible for the copywriting and release of the press articles which coincided with the release of several photographs of the royal wedding band that was to be worn by Kate.

John received high praise from the office of Princes William and Harry, and from the Executive office of The Prince of Wales and Duchess Of Cornwall.




Apple


For Apple UK John supervised and wrote content for the iPad 2 Product Launch in 2011, writing sales copy and presentation materials for the UK-wide release of the iPad 2.



Transport For London


John co-wrote and directed the film Every Ten Minutes which was used by Transport For London to inform London passengers of the dangers they face traveling by public transport. The film was approved by the Mayor of London, and won several UK awards. Shot entirely on location in London, this short film was shown in schools and colleges throughout the south east of England as part of a series of short films about train and transport safety.
